SUMO Vaxio - High Speed Combination Cultivator
240-600HP 4-6m 250mm
The VAXIO is a high-speed and versatile cultivator, which can be used for direct stubble cultivation behind the combine, or for breaking down over-wintered ploughing.
Combining surface cultivation with soil loosening at depth, the VAXIO can create a seedbed, retain soil moisture, alleviate soil compaction, all at high-speed. Levelling paddles and the MULTIPACKA roller ensure a level and firm seedbed is left, ready for drilling.
Attaching to the tractor via a lower-links draw-bar, the VAXIO is designed to operate with a parallel frame for easy depth adjustment of individual zones, guaranteeing consistent results.
The VAXIO hydraulically folds for easy transport and moving between fields. 600/50-22.5 tyres carrying the weight in transport and hydraulic raise during work to avoid wheelings.
A double row of 500mm dia scalloped discs chop up surface organic matter, incorporating it into the top soil, producing organic rich soil and killing volunteer weeds.
Their 230mm spacing combines maximum soil disturbance with good trash clearance.
Two staggered rows of spring-loaded tines work the soil to a maximum depth of 200mm, alleviating shallow compaction and aerating the soil to promote deep root penetration.
A 310mm wide A-share is available for direct stubble cultivation or a 60mm chisel point for over-wintered ploughing.
