The "two-in-one" machine
The Dennis S500 PLUS is an easy to use 'dual -purpose' machine ideal for bowls, cricket and golf as well as being equally at home on other fine turf surfaces.
Designed to spike, slot and (with the optional seeder box) seed turf quickly and efficiently the S500 PLUS allows air, water and nutrients to penetrate the root zone. This machine creates the ideal seed germination pockets, while still alowing mowing and playing to continue without comprimising the seeds.
The S500 PLUS has a 510 mm (20") operating width and has interchangeable spiker and slotter reels. The spiker reel punches through the "surface pan" allowing air, water and fertiliser to penetrate the turf, whilst the slotter reel creates ideal seed germination pockets. An optional seed box is available and the 3 mm x 20 mm wide slots give a massive 3% of holes on any green.
