Lower Odd Farm switched to a Kramer 3610 and, after 320 hours of use, reported excellent comfort, manoeuvrability, efficiency and ease of use, making it a valuable investment for the business.

The Challenge

Lower Odd Farm wanted to move away from its previous telehandler setup and invest in a machine that would deliver better usability, strong manoeuvrability, operator comfort and reliable day-to-day performance. The change from a torque converter machine to a hydrostatic drive was also a key consideration.

The Solution

Roger and Will Wilson chose a Kramer 3610, supplied through TAG Kemble, after placing importance on both machine performance and the aftersales backup provided by TAG. After 320 hours of use, they highlighted the machine’s smooth ride, quiet cab, seamless gear transitions, excellent manoeuvrability, easy-to-use joystick controls, and the fact that their existing attachments fitted without modification. They also praised features such as crab steer, four-wheel steer, strong visibility, the Deutz engine, and the handy boom pressure release for changing implements.

The Results

The Kramer 3610 has proven to be a strong investment for the business, giving Lower Odd Farm a telehandler that is comfortable, efficient and easy to use. The farm reported benefits including improved usability, reduced brake wear through the creeper function, fewer tyre marks and scrubs in the yard, lower tyre wear, and easier maintenance thanks to accessible grease points. The team described the switch as a fantastic decision and said they would not go back.
